Air and surface disinfection
As part of our service here at UVO3 we offer custom design solutions for disinfection in all kinds of environments. What this slick piece of wordmanship means is that if you have an application that needs disinfecting and there’s not something on the market that can do it, we’ll make you something that does.
So far, the most common bespoke applications tend to be food processing conveyor belts, operating theatres in hospitals, air conditioning systems and pharmaceutical isolation rooms.
It works in exactly the same way as water UV disinfection, it’s just the bacteria is either in the air or on a surface, hence the name. So it still works by bacteria being exposed to UV for a time long enough to render it harmless, same as usual. We do all the working out for the times they need so you only have to worry about the result you want.
From our point of view there’s little difference in how we approach the situation, the result has to be the same. No germs left at the end.
