Advanced Oxidation process with Advanox Flex

At UVO3 we are proud to partner with Van Remmen to offer our clients tailored UV water treatment technology to match their exact requirements.

Van Remmen UV technology:

Van Remmen UV Technology is a Dutch company founded in 1999 by Ton van Remmen, specialising in UV-C technology for water treatment solutions. The company designs and manufactures UV disinfection systems and advanced oxidation systems that enable the use, reuse and recycling of water. Their technology features a unique self-designed flow management system and energy-efficient low-pressure lamps, ensuring minimal maintenance and efficient energy consumption.

The company was established after founder Ton van Remmen witnessed water challenges during irrigation projects in Asia in the 1990s. Van Remmen’s vision centres on making clean, safe water accessible to everyone whilst promoting sustainable water management. They collaborate with various partners across the water supply chain to develop integrated solutions.

FEATURED PRODUCTS

Validated series for drinking water

The Validated series by Van Remmen UV Technology is a range of UV disinfection systems specifically designed for reliable and economical water treatment. These systems have been developed, tested and optimised to treat water with transmittance between 80% and 99%, handling flow rates from 0.5m³/h up to 148m³/h depending on the model.

Key features:

  • Validation according to NEN-EN 14897 standards, ensuring proven disinfection performance
  • Reliable and effective disinfection with documented results
  • Energy-efficient design with low maintenance requirements
  • Low-pressure UV-C lamps with long lifespan (8,000-16,000 hours) and high efficiency
  • Constructed from high-quality 316L/1.4404 stainless steel
  • Operating pressure up to 10 bar at 25°C
  • Available in multiple configurations (V090-V220) to suit different capacity requirements
  • Most models can be mounted both horizontally and vertically

The series is particularly suitable for the potable water market, as well as applications in processing industries, shipping, building utilities and installation engineering. The systems include control features such as lamp status monitoring, hour counters, and alarm contacts, with optional UV sensors and temperature safety features available.

All Validated series products comply with relevant EU directives and carry WRAS and Kiwa ATA approvals, making them fully certified for drinking water applications.
