UVO3 Ltd - Irrigation Water Disinfection Using The AGRI Range From UVO3



The 'AGRI' range of UV water disinfection units from UVO3 Ltd are specifically designed to disinfect irrigation water. The units incorporate a host of special features that make them easy to use and effective in this demanding environment. The units can either be installed in a fixed installation or can be trailer mounted for field use.

UV is effective against all forms of bacteria such as E-Coli, Pseudomonas & Legionella.  This is of particular importance for water used on salad crops and similar vegetables where the product may be eaten by the consumer without prior washing.  Also, certain root vegetables can be prone to severe damage by waterborne diseases such as Brown Rot.  By providing suitable treatment, these diseases can be irradicated in irrigation water, allowing its safe use.


UV is a chemical free form of water treatment and is approved by the Organics Society.
